Earmolds for hearing aid systems

When fitting hearing aids, precise manufacturing and the choice of suitable material are crucial for the acceptance of wearing a hearing aid. The anatomical as well as physiological conditions are unique for each hearing aid fitting, which is why Dreve earmolds are individually manufactured with great attention to detail. As a direct connection between the hearing aid and the ear, earmolds ensure that the acoustic potential of the hearing instruments can be fully exploited. We only use materials in our earmold production that we have developed and tested ourselves and that meet our requirements for durability and mechanics.

We manufacrure high-quality, hard earmolds with our premium resin FotoTec®. Due to the automated 3D production process of the earmolds we achieve a consistently high quality level. FotoTec® earmolds are biocompatible, they guarantee a high fitting accuracy and impress with their color brilliance.

Biopor® is our biocompatible and addition-vulcanizing silicone for the manufacturing of soft earmolds. These are characterized by tear resistance as well as permanent elasticity and assure a high wearing comfort.

Due to the thermo effect of the material, the earmold is almost hard at room temperature and flexible and conformable at body temperature.
The material is tear-resistant, robust and returns to its original shape after deformation. VarioTherm® earmolds are also produced by machine at Dreve using a digital process, making them easy to reproduce. Due to the material's thermo effect, VarioTherm® Plus earmolds are virtually hard at room temperature and flexible and pliable at body temperature.
Due to its outstanding properties, the material enables the high-precision production of sophisticated designs, e.g. thin-walled RIC earmolds. In addition, it is particularly suitable for sensitive skin, as it has a lower allergenic potential than acrylates.

Hearing systems with external receiver

The development of the market in hearing aid acoustics and the experience of the last few years have shown that external hearing systems have become established.

We offer innovative earmold solutions for these modern hearing systems from all hearing aid manufacturers, which meet the highest quality standards in terms of acoustic benefit and cosmetic requirements.
To ensure the best possible hearing aid fitting, we recommend the use of RIC earmolds (RIC = receiver in canal) to your customers to suppress resonance, distortion or feedback.
Furthermore, RIC earmolds offer the advantage of ideal placement of the receiver in the ear canal and protect against accidental loss of valuable hearing instruments.

Micro tubing systems

A fitting with micro tube hearing aid systems offers the advantage that almost all auditory canals can be fitted with earmolds in a cosmetically appealing way. Especially in the case of initial fitting and minor hearing losses, micro tube systems are inspiring and achieve a high level of acceptance among customers.
